Driver FAQ
- You must be at least 21 years of age, hold a valid driver's license, and have a clean driving record.
- Prior commercial driving experience is preferred but not required. Excellence as a Scruffy City Mover or Captain is essential before becoming eligible for driver certification.
- Drivers must complete Scruffy City's internal Driving and Safety Certification Program, which focuses on customer care, load security, defensive driving, and leadership on the road.
- A driver leads: securing the load, protecting the crew, managing truck organization, communicating with customers, and upholding the Scruffy City Standard every mile.
- No. All drivers start as movers. Leadership, performance, and customer trust must be proven before eligibility to advance into a driving role.
- No. A commercial driver's license (CDL) is not required to drive Scruffy City vehicles.
